This adaptation can be obtained near the Wander blackbox recording. After unlocking this adaptation, you will be able to travel to the hottest places, gather unique resources, and progress further in the game.

In order to become heat-resistant, you will need to unlock an adaptation ability. The first thing that you should do is to visit the Angel Comb area and clear out the Bloom Infestation. To clear the infestation:
- Look for the glowing Bloom nodes.
- Follow the vine-like tendrils branching out from the main structure.
- Destroy each Bloom node connected to the infestation.
- Once all connected nodes are removed, the central area will open.
In case there is any difficulty in finding all the nodes, just continue to follow the tendrils since they lead directly to all the other nodes left to be reached. Head towards the entrance and perform an interaction on it by putting your hand into it. After the interaction is complete, your character will permanently unlock increased heat tolerance.
