Then players need to make sure that the next and final move of the round is going to be an Uppercut
After performing the uppercut, players need to hold down the uppercut button even after the round/match ends (for a few more seconds)

If they don’t hold the button, the character will simply land an uppercut and the round/match will be finished.
For PS players, the button for Uppercut would be Triangle so press it down for a few more seconds after the round end.
