Published by Bethesda Softworks, Tango Gameworks’s horror video game Ghostwire: Tokyo has plenty of new mechanisms where players need to use their superhuman abilities to kill monsters. As almost all of the human residents of Shibuya have disappeared, they need to pick up the clues on the events preceding it and find out what went wrong. This guide will explain how Wire In works in Ghostwire: Tokyo.
How Wire In works in Ghostwire: Tokyo
As you know by playing the game, the two protagonists in Ghostwire: Tokyo share the same body. They are Akito and KK, and both of them have their uses as Akito has control over most of the functions while KK delivers the elemental powers that are called Weaving Skills, and this can be taken to the next level by unlocking a mechanism called Wire In.

By playing through more of the game, you will realise that the two of them are not on good terms with each other at first, but they eventually learn to make it work. This will allow for more versatility in the game, and you can Wire In eventually. This is an attack that you can activiate once the two characters are in resonance with each other as the fullest capacity. You can check on the current level of resonance by looking at the bar on the bottom-right of your game screen, right next to the HP bar.
When the bar is full, you can activate it to unleash a powerful beam onto your enemies, which causes area damage. This allows you to hit multiple targets as well as a single powerful enemy. They can be stunned if they have a lot of HP, which gives you a chance to fit in another attack before they unfreeze. By using the Wire In ability, you can take down your enemies faster by attacking the exposed weak parts of your opponents while they are frozen, and you can hit them multiple times.
