Halo Infinite is the upcoming sixth installment of the Halo Series. Though the complete version of the game is going to be released on 8th December 2021, its free-to-play multiplayer beta version is now available for players to enjoy. Selecting weapons and equipment is one of the most important tasks to perform in Halo Infinite. Proper weapons and equipment can take you to an advantageous position. One of the most important and interesting pieces of equipment of this game is the Threat Sensor.
In this article, we’ll talk about how to use a Threat Sensor to trigger a Shock Chain.
Shock Chain and Threat Sensor in Halo Infinite- How to use
The Threat Sensor is very useful to know the location of the nearby enemies. It gives you an idea about the surroundings and how many enemies you are going to face. Once you are equipped with a threat sensor, toss it on the wall or ground. It will immediately scan the nearby area and show you the position of your enemies. However, this lasts only for a few seconds. Therefore, try to locate the position of your enemies as soon as possible. Once you get the location, you can use a rocket launcher or grenade to wipe them off.
Alternatively, once you toss a threat sensor, and find the location of your enemies, use the Shock Rifle at the equipment to hit the enemies. Firing the Shock Rifle at the Threat Sensor will create a shock chain and hit multiple enemies nearby.
That’s how you can use a threat sensor to create a shock chain. However, only a few challenges in Halo Infinite multiplayer will allow you to use a threat sensor.
