Diablo Immortal is the latest installment in the Diablo Series, released on 2nd June 2022. Gear and Weapons are the most important elements in an action game, and upgrading them makes players stronger. This guide will help you know how players can upgrade Gear ranks in Diablo Immortal.
Gear Rank Upgrade in Diablo Immortal – How to Upgrade?
In Diablo Immortal, Gears range from not so useful to Legendary. If you upgrade and increase your Gear Rank, the attributes of the Gear also boost up. Upgrading the Gear and boosting the attributes are the main ways to improve your ORDR and strengthen your character.
There is only one way to upgrade Gear in Diablo Immortal. Players need to upgrade their Gear Rank through Blacksmiths found in Westmarch. The Blacksmiths are introduced to you early in the game after you complete the early missions. They are the NPCs that you can find scattered over the map. But the Blacksmiths can’t upgrade your gear if you don’t provide necessary items, such as Scrap Material, Enchanted Dust, Glowing Shard, and Gold. These items are mandatory to upgrade gear.
To get these items, players need to frequently go to the Blacksmiths to salvage gear. You can salvage the gear you don’t use, or a low-level gear, to get back the materials and upgrade an existing gear to the next level. Once you get all the required materials, go to the Blacksmiths to upgrade your Gear. But remember, Blacksmiths only upgrade the Rare and Legendary Gear. Other low-level gear are not worth upgrading.
The upgrading cost also varies from one level to another-
- 0-1 level requires 1500 Gold and 125 Scrap Material
- 1-2 level requires 4000 Gold, 1 Enchanted Dust, and 150 Scrap Material
- 2-3 level requires 6500 Gold, 10 Enchanted Dust, and 175 Scrap Material.
This is how the required materials increases as you upgrade your gear to higher levels.
