How to Unlock and Use Portals in Valheim
So, the portals are really useful and it’s one of the first things you should seek to unlock in the game. Travelling by foot even in the early stages of the game from one biome to the other can take hours. Later in the game, it impossible to make your way by foot. Hence, try to unlock the portal as soon as you have the items.
To unlock the portal in Valheim, you require 10 Greydwarf Eye, 20 Fine Wood, 2 Surtling Core, and Workbench.
For the portal to work, it is required to have two portals named with the same tag and the Workbench should be in range. While you can travel yourself and transport resources through the portal, not everything is permitted.
Here are the things that cannot be transported through the portal. If you have them in the inventory, drop them or you won’t be able to teleport. The items include:
