 How to Solve the Clock Puzzle in The Past Within: Chapter 2

The Past Within is a new co-op experience in the Rusty Lake series where players will need to get a friend to solve the puzzles with. In this guide, we will take you through the process of how to solve the Clock puzzle in The Past Within: Chapter 2.

Once you have gotten the hammer from the blackboard, you will be able to progress to the next puzzle. If you have not obtained the hammer yet, check out our guide for the last puzzle in the link below.

Pick up the hammer and use it to break the tooth. You will now be able to use the vacuum pipe to suck up all the pieces and transfer them to the cylinder which contains the shadow of Albert. 

The next step is to transfer the bones, indicated by the blinking light on the machine. Flip the switch and bones will be connected. Now, you will need to deal with the clock. The arrows will stop at this place.

Red – 6

White -1 

In the device that you can look through, use this key to match the colors of the switches. Once you have done so, you will be able to see the skeleton of Albert, which is an upgrade from the shadow. This means that the bones have been added.

Zoom out to see a Nut Driver and prise open the back of the device. You will see that some parts are missing. Outside, you will see a rat on the floor. Follow it to find a broken tile with a key. You will be able to use this key to open the right locker and get some blueprints.

Once you have the blueprints, you will be able to progress to the next puzzle, which is to find the missing gears.
