20 Minutes Till Dawn is a rogue-like game where players need to survive in a dark fantasy world and kill monsters who are trying to kill them, for twenty minutes. The game has a decent number of types of monsters, elite enemies and bosses that the player should attempt to beat in order to survive more efficiently in the game. This guide will take you through the process of how to kill the Winged Monster in 20 Minutes Till Dawn.
How to Kill the Winged Monster in 20 Minutes Till Dawn
The Dragon, or the Winged Monster as the Elite enemy is known in the game files, is the third Elite enemy that you will encounter in the game, after the Elder and the Spawner. The Winged Monster arrives with 4 minutes left on the clock, which is one minute after the last boss Shoggoth comes in.

Elite enemies and bosses can be differentiated based on their drops, and the fact that they have lesser health than the bosses. While Shoggoth from a minute ago has 35000 HP, the Winged Monster only has 18000. It should be relatively easy for you to take them out if you’ve already killed Shoggoth. If not, you will need to battle both enemies at the same time.
The Winged Monster is close to being a melee attacker, or could be a short-range fire-thrower—but we’ve never gotten close enough to actually check. As long as you keep your distance and stay away from the other tiny mobs around you, killing the dragon-like creature should be a piece of cake. It is much recommended to pick off Shoggoth first as they are likely to cause more damage.
Once defeated, the Winged Monster will let out a shrill cry and drop a chest much like the other Elite Enemies. You can choose to take the perk or discard it if it doesn’t work with your current playing style.
