In Persona 3 Portable, you’ll pick clubs based on who you want to play, but your social link will not be affected by your choice. You’ll meet the same characters and follow the same tales no matter what sports team you join, except when you play as another protagonist. Your social metrics do not change as a result of attending these clubs and teams, and they just elevate your social links to them.

Clubs to Join as a Male Protagonist

  • Swimming, Kendo, Track: The Chariot social link with Kazushi will begin regardless of which team you join on April 23rd.
  • Art, Music, Science: The Fortune social link with Keisuke Hiraga will begin regardless of which team you join on June 17th.

Clubs to Join as a Female Protagonist

  • Tennis or Volleyball: The Chariot social link with Rio will begin regardless of which team you join on April 23rd.
  • Library or School Health: The Hermit social link with Saori will begin regardless of which team you join on May 8th.
