Once you have unlocked the Room of Requirements, you can start conjuring various stations to help you manage your resources. This includes potion crafting stations, herbology stations, as well as a loom to help you sort out your gear. You can even host your magical beasts in Vivariums, and store items that you will need later. Like most Conjurations, you can purchase spell crafts for all your Room of Requirements stations at the Tomes and Scrolls store in Hogsmeade. The same applies to Hopping Pot Spellcrafts as well. They have four different varieties of Hopping Pots you can choose from, and it will cost 3,000 coins. Below are the types of Hopping Pot Spellcrafts you will get.
- Scientific Hopping Pot
- Botanical Hopping Pot
- Eclectic Hopping Pot
- Gothic Hopping Pot
After you purchase the Hopping Pot Spellcraft, you can go back to your Room of Requirements to conjure it. You can equip up to 3 Hopping Pots of your choice inside the room. This will cost you 30 Moonstones each to conjure.
The purpose of the Hopping Pot is to craft a random potion every 12 minutes. This is the fastest way to craft potions without purchasing ingredients and spending time at the potions station. The Hopping Pot will make do with whatever potion recipes are available in the game, even if you have not unlocked them.
The only drawback is that the Hopping Pot will stop brewing if you are away from the Room of Requirements, so you have to be in the room for it to work. It could look like a waste of time, especially for players who have pending quests, so if you have a lot of free time you can stand around and watch the potions brew on their own.
