What are Fungal Spores?
Fungal Spores is a Genshin Impact item dropped by Floating Fungi. Fungal spores are a common enemy loot drop from any type of mushroom-type creature at or below level 40. They can be found among other rare drops, such as mora and inert fungal nuclei, which gives them a high chance of appearing when defeating one of these creatures. Many different types fit this criterion:
- Floating Dendro Fungus
- Floating Hydro Fungus
- Grounded Hydroshroom
- Stretchy Anemo Fungus
- Stretchy Goo Fungus
- Stretchy Pyro Fungus
- Whirling Cryo Fungus
- Winged Cryoshroom
- Winged Dendroshroom
- Whirling Electro Fungus
All Fungal Spores Locations
You’ll need to collect more ascension materials as well as plenty of Fungal Spores. You can find them here in the lands of Sumeru.
- As you explore Western Sumeru, closer to the desert-like area of Vanarana, you’ll discover a plethora of new spots where you can fight these simple opponents and acquire additional Fungal Spores.
- The Floating Hydro Fungus is far more common in the wild. Many of them hide away in the Mawtimiya Forest and even more in the neighbouring regions.
- As you explore southwards, there are even more places where you can meet the fungal demons – for example, Devantaka Mountain or roaming the thick forest of Apam Woods.
You can also craft Luminous Pollen with three Fungal Spores and a fee of 50 mora. Check out our other guides for more updates about this game.
