The only way you can claim Competitive Points is if you can win a match in Competitive mode. Any other mode or unranked matches will not give you any points. As stated, if you win, you and your team will get 15 CP, and if you lose you get nothing. If it’s a draw, both teams will receive 5 CP. You can also get CP based on your ranking in the Queue Leaderboard for Open or Role Queue. The higher your rank the better CP rewards you get. Ranking depends on which Hero you use quite frequently, so you will be ranked based on your wins using that Hero. So, if you use Damage Heroes frequently and end up in Diamond, but you don’t use a Tank Hero too often, your Tank will be in a different ranking. Below are all the ranks and their respective CP points.
- Grandmaster: 1,750 CP
- Master: 1,200 CP
- Diamond: 750 CP
- Platinum: 500 CP
- Gold: 250 CP
- Silver: 125 CP
- Bronze: 65 CP
At the end of the season, if you still retain this rank, you will earn the respective CP.
Once you collect your CP earnings, you can then head over to the weapons store to get yourself some Gold Weapons. You will need 3000 CP per weapon for each Hero, so you need to work yourself up the ranks to start collecting CP.
