Chargers can be found during your adventure across the terrains in Helldivers 2. Luckily these bugs are fairly slow, but they can catch up if their life is under threat. There are a few weak spots on the Charger that you can utilize to effectively bring it down.
- Aim for the front legs, head, or the backside of the Charger. The backside is exceptionally weak, so any launcher like the grenade can make quick work of it
- If you are facing the Charger head on, shoot its front legs with any launcher to tear down the armor. Then use any primary weapon on the exposed orange parts to weaken it
- The Recoilless Rifle is the best weapon here that can be utilized during early and late gameplay. You can also use this solo or as a team
- If using the Recoilless Rifle as a solo player, try to shoot its front leg armor or its head as it can be difficult to get around to the back of the Charger
- Since your reload speed will be slower as a solo player, you have to stay vigilant. Keep shooting its legs to weaken the armor and then shoot at its flesh to quickly finish it off
- Unless you are feeling lucky, you can try and aim for the backside, but Chargers tend to turn around fairly quickly so this can fail while playing solo
- Try to lure them to bump into objects like walls or hills. This will temporary stun them, giving you enough time to launch some attacks at their back
- If working as a team, you can utilize one player to bait the Charger so that they run towards the bait. The other players can work together to reload and shoot the Charger at its behind. The player who will act as bait needs to use armor that grants them speed and agility to successfully pull this off
- While encountering Chargers during late game, then you can use Stratagems like the Eagle 500KG Bomb and the Orbital Railcannon Strike
- Chargers are highly susceptible to fire, so you can use the Flamethrower with combination of grenades to take it down
