In Towers of Aghasba, Mushroom Caps are a valuable resource that can be obtained by harvesting plants like Big Cap and Bushroom. These plants provide a small number of Mushroom Caps, but to gather more, the best method is to plant Fungi Spore, a seed dropped by Big Cap and Bushroom. To start, you will need to set up an ecosystem on the island and establish the first village. As the King Tree grows, you will be able to grow Big Cap and Bushroom, which provide Mushroom Caps. This guide will walk you through how to find, grow, and use Mushroom Caps for various recipes and rewards.
How To Get Mushroom Cap
Mushroom Caps can be obtained by harvesting Big Cap and Bushroom in Towers of Aghasba. These plants provide a small amount of Mushroom Caps. To gather more, the best method is to plant Fungi Spore (a seed dropped by Big Cap and Bushroom) anywhere in the game.
- First, set up an ecosystem on the island and establish the first village.
- After that, interact with Pawel, who will give you a Temperate Colossal Seed.
- Plant the seed to grow the King Tree and start reviving the withered island.
- The King Tree has three tiers, but you don’t need to complete all of them to begin collecting Mushroom Caps.
- Once the King Tree is large enough, you will be able to grow Big Cap and Bushroom, which will provide Mushroom Caps.
To find Big Cap, plant a Temperate Seed or Fungi Spore anywhere in the ecosystem. Temperate Seeds spawn randomly, so you may need to plant several before one sprouts. Thankfully, the Colossal King Tree produces plenty of Temperate Seeds every minute, ensuring a steady supply. If you are far from the King Tree, you can create Temperate Seeds by converting Common Seeds, Tropical Seeds, or Arid Seeds in the Pollination Pod.
Alternatively, plant a Fungi Spore, which has a higher chance of producing a Big Cap or Mushroom Cap-bearing plant. After planting a Temperate Seed (using the ‘Equip’ option in your inventory), it takes about 20 minutes for the Big Cap to fully mature. You can speed up the process with Fertilizer. Once mature, use a Stone Shovel to harvest the Big Cap. Each Big Cap provides one to two Mushroom Caps.
How To Use Mushroom Cap
Mushroom Caps are essential for cooking recipes, like the Meat Skewer, which restores health and can be used as a building material to repair Lutoro Bridge. Players need to prepare a Nutritious Salad to repair the broken bridge leading to the mainland if they have accepted the quest.
- You can also eat a Mushroom Cap raw to restore a significant amount of health.
- Alternatively, you can toss it in front of creatures like Juvor to receive other items, such as Dung.
