The Ultramarines are brave warriors of the Imperium; they undertake the most terrible war against monster Tyranids and Chaos forces. They rush into battle, armed with powerful guns and armor, and receive wounds that can be serious. If the Ultramarine has already received a Mortal Wound, then his case could be hopeless. Such defeat would be a shame before the Imperium because the Ultramarines were its elite fighting force.
A Mortal Wound in Space Marine 2 is a severe injury that can end a character’s life. It’s like a critical hit that deals massive damage and can be challenging to recover from.
Players need to understand Mortal Wounds in Space Marine 2. A Mortal Wound is a serious injury that might cause a character’s life to end. Knowing how to avoid Mortal Wounds and what to do in case one happens is very important. This will help you learn how to cure Mortal Wounds and stay in the fight.
What is Mortal Wounds in Space Marine 2
If a character is knocked out and has to be revived in Space Marine 2, the player might receive a Mortal Wound, a grave injury that can kill the player. The difficulty level will dictate the number of revives before receiving a Mortal Wound. In more manageable levels, players can be revived twice; in more challenging levels, only once.
And if this character with a Mortal Wound dies again, he gets permanently killed. Of course, that does not mean it is game over. The rest can fight their way up to a checkpoint or wait until the killed player respawns. Whenever a character respawns, he starts with his health halved and loses all items in possession except the Armory Data. This has made it very imperative for players to decide who should have the Gene-Seed with them.
How to Cure Mortal Wounds
Space Marine 2 has two ways of healing a Mortal Wound. The best among them is finding a Guardian Relic. Such items can be found in various parts of the game. If a player with a Mortal Wound uses a Guardian Relic, he will resurrect himself and cure his Mortal Wound.
If you don’t find the Guardian Relic, there is a less reliable method to try. The player can allow an enemy to kill them so that they can respawn from a checkpoint without the Mortal Wound affecting them. It isn’t really the best way, but it actually works. If the player is soloing with bots, then they cannot use this because bots cannot revive players with Mortal Wounds.
