Dying Light 2 has pretty dynamic gameplay with killing zombies, and this involves crafting your own ammo. In addition to all the new features of the game and the items you get when you finish a quest such as the Pipe Bow and the Grappling Hook, you get blueprints for ammo you can make. These are created with the materials you find in the game, known as ‘craft parts’. This guide will take you through the process of crafting shock arrows.
Crafting Shock Arrows in Dying Light 2
Shock Arrows can be obtained easily to inflict damage. As they are ammo for ranged weapons, these are handy for killing zombies from a distance. In addition to causing damage, they also deal shock damage to humans as well as the ones infected with the zombie virus.

After you complete your first substation mission, you can craft them at a craftmaster at any city with in-game currency and craft parts.
You need 10 Scraps, 1 Feather and 9 Wiring to upgrade the Shock Arrows. Scraps are available everywhere in the game but you need to find a Feather in the rooftops.
Pay the craftmaster 700 Old World Money and collect the blueprint from him.
Once you have collected the blueprint for Shock Arrows, you need to go to your Character Menu and select it.
Click on craft, and you will have the Shock Arrows in your inventory, ready to use as you wish on any unsuspecting zombies for an electric shock.
As Shock Arrows cannot be upgraded, you need to look for better ammo and better weapons once you feel like your enemies are stronger than they can handle. Check out our guide on How to Increase Max Health in Dying Light 2 if you’re having trouble staying alive in the game.
