The first thing that you will need to do if you want to complete the Windtrace Event in Genshin Impact is to make your way to the quest location. It is just inside of Mondstadt, where you will need to find Gygax. This is an NPC who has been placed into the game with the purpose of providing you with the event.
Speak to Gygax and begin the multiplayer event by clicking on Start Match. You will be matched with three other online players so make sure you have a stable internet connection. Remember that the Rebels will be three in number, and are the ones hiding from the Hunter and can take on other shapes to disguise themselves. The Hunter will chase them all.
You will be allowed to play only within the Contested Zone, which will have a lot of props such as street lights and chairs. The game will decide if you are a Hunter or a Rebel. If you are a Rebel, you will have 40 seconds to choose a location to hide. Choose a location that isn’t too common or too out of the ordinary and the Hunter should not be able to catch you.
Meanwhile, the Hunter will wait until the Rebels have hidden. You will have three and a half minutes to find the rebels. Make use of your skills to catch the Rebels, which include freezing them to find out where they are. Once you have found them all, you have won the game.
