With the help of the Trick Room, you will be able to reverse the move order in the battlefield. This means that slower Pokemon will move before normally faster Pokemon, which can lead to more varied gameplay. This might be considered a form of speed control as it takes effect on the speed of the Pokemon in combat.

Slower Pokemon will be able to benefit from this effect and attack quickly even if the opponents are faster Pokemon. The duration of the effect is five turns. However, using the move counts as the first turn, so you technically have only four turns to play. Make sure not to use the move again before the previous one is over, as this will cause the effect to end.

To build the Trick Room team, you will need two Setter Pokemon, as one of them will be a lead while the other is backup. These are all the Pokemon that you can use for this move.
