Among the 400 Pokemon available in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Magneton is one of the oldest ones. Veteran players probably recognize this Pokemon easily as they have seen this Magnet Pokemon before in other Pokemon Games, and it has made its way to Scarlet and Violet. So, if you are looking for it and haven’t yet figured out its location and how to evolve it, this guide will help you with both.

Magneton Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet- How to Evolve It?

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are one of the most anticipated Nintendo Switch Games of this year, and players have been grinding through the games to date to catch all the Pokemon Possible. The official count says these games have 400 Pokemon to get, while players can actually get more than 400 Pokemon. Magneton is one of the magnet Pokemon in the game, and players can evolve it to Magnezone.

Not every Pokemon is a potent teammate to use in battles. Still, players need to collect them to fill their Pokedex, and Magneton is one of those. If you are looking for Magneton in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you can get through two ways-

  1. You can catch a Magnemite and evolve it into Magneton at level 30. Magnemite can be caught in East Province (Area Two) and (Area Three). Go to the grassy lands, and Magnemite is a common Spawn there. Once you catch it, use Exp. Candies to level it up to level 30 and get a Magneton.
  2. Second, you can catch Magneton out in the Wild. Below we have marked the location to get a Magneton-

It is Zapapico (West). Navigate to the above location and make your way to the Dalizapa Passage. Proceed forward and roam around the area to get a Magneton. Magneton doesn’t spawn much, so you may not find it easily.

Once you get a Magneton, you can evolve it to Magnezone, but not by leveling it up. Instead, to get a Magnezone, players need a Thunder Stone, and if only you give your Magneton a Thunder Stone, it’ll evolve into Magnezone. Thunder Stone can either be purchased from Delibird Presents across the Paldea region, or if you want to get it free, go to the West Province (Area One) Watchtower. Climb the top of the Watchtower, and you’ll get Thunder Stone.
