While fighting enemy Automatons like the Commissars, you might notice a large flying ship appear and drop off more enemies into the fight. These dropships will be called at random across all difficulty levels, but they will always bring a steady supply of enemies. If this happens, you will quickly find yourself surrounded, and it will get impossible to control the crowd. The only thing you can do here is to defeat the vessel before it drops more automaton enemies. Before they start deploying enemies, lock in on them using Anti-Tank Stratagems, Grenade Launchers, or Spears. You can also use a Recoilless Rifle, then aim and shoot at the engine of the ship. If that doesn’t work, then the only other option is to use AoE stratagems like the Eagle 500KG Bomb to take them down before the enemies start unloading themselves off the ship
It can get tough to always keep track of the Dropship’s drop location. The only way you can keep track of it is by checking the sky frequently. Use long range weapons or stratagems to deal with the ship and all enemies on board it.
