Genshin Impact Version 3.1 is on the horizon and players have begun their grind for the new upcoming characters. We already know what banners and reruns we’re getting in the next update but the 4-stars in these banners have remained a mystery- until now. Recent leaks have revealed the banner 4-stars appearing in the first phase of Version 3.1 and we’re here to discuss that.
First Phase Banner 4-Stars in Genshin Impact 3.1
The first phase will have dual banners- one introducing Cyno’s character and a rerun of Venti. We already know the upcoming 4-star Candace will also feature in both of these banners. The two other shared 4-stars in the above banners are as follows:
- Sayu (Anemo)
- Kuki Shinobu (Electro)
Both the above characters have been significantly buffed upon Dendro’s release in Version 3.0 so it’s understandable why they’re being featured in these banners.
Kuki Shinobu especially is an excellent electro applier in Dendro comps and she also doubles up as a decent healer. She shines in Hyperbloom teams due to her AoE electro application and her AoE burst. As for Sayu, she also shines in Quicken and Hyperbloom comps provided she’s running an EM build.
Both the above characters can function as reliable healers but they must both be built on EM as their primary focus for them to shine in Dendro comps. Sayu especially synergises well with Fischl’s kit.
Since these are also comparably newer 4-stars and among the niche category, it’s also wise for Genshin Impact to be giving them away in such banners for players to get their constellations. Their constellations especially give them a huge bump in quality and viability so this can be good for both veteran and newer players.
As for Candace, her viability will depend on her scaling and ICDs so we can’t be sure if she’ll be as good as Yun Jin but at least her Hydro infusion might come in handy for some interesting and whacky team comps. We wish all our players good luck on their upcoming pulls for Cyno, Venti, Candace and the rest of the 4-stars.
