After you find the secret treasure and talk to Virgil, you will be betrayed by him. You will soon realize the truth behind his request to find the treasure, but there is no treasure at all! Rather this is some experiment against the Ruin Grader, and you are the target. If you try to beat the Ruin Grader, you will notice that its health bar regenerates rather quickly.
