Genshin Impact offers various special chests that you can unlock throughout the game, but they are usually hidden behind puzzles that you need to solve. Most of these puzzles are quite straightforward, but some of them will require some thinking. While venturing through the Gurabad’s Ruin in the Temple of Deshret, you will come across a locked door that requires stone slates. Genshin Impact 3.4 – How to Get all Mysterious Stone Slates and unlock The Nameless City’s Past Achievement.
There are 6 Mysterious Stone Slates that you can find in the Desert of Hadramaveth, but most of them are hidden in chests. Here we will see how to get them all and unlock The Nameless City’s Past achievement in Genshin Impact 3.4.

Before you start, you need to complete the Dirge Bilqis questline and have Jinni in the Magic Bottle Liloupar to level 3.
Mysterious Stone Slate Location 1
You find the first mysterious stone slate in the Sands of Three Canals area. Take the southwest teleport waypoint and go north. You will find a run-down building below after you fall down the ledge.
After you enter the building from the hole on top of the roof, interact with the Jinn Shrine to reveal the fake wall. Interact with the wall and wait for it to disappear and show you a chest. Unlock the chest to get the first Mysterious Stone Slate.
Mysterious Stone Slate Location 2
This time, go to the northwest waypoint in the Sands of the Three Canals and go east. After you fall off the ledge, look below for a run-down structure same as the last time. Fall through the hole in the roof and you will find a chest out in the open that has the Mysterious Stone Slate 2.
Mysterious Stone Slate Location 3
Take the southeast waypoint in the Sands of the Three Canals and go east. After you jump down the ledge, you will land inside a structure having the Jinn Shrine. Go behind and enter the opening on the wall to find a chest and get the third Mysterious Stone Slate.
Mysterious Stone Slate Location 4
Head over to the Statue of the Seven in the Tanit Camps area and go northeast, you will find a hole in the sand that will lead you to a secret room having another Jinn Shrine. Interact with the Shrine to reveal the fake wall and interact with it. It will reveal a secret chest with the fourth Mysterious Stone Slate.
Mysterious Stone Slate Location 5
You have to take the southeast waypoint in Wadi Al Majuj and go far to the northeast section, near the Passage of Ghouls. There is another run-down building having a chest on the roof, but that chest won’t have the stone slate. Rather you should go down the hole where the Jinn Shrine is, and find the wall to reveal the chest having the Mysterious Stone Slate 5.
Mysterious Stone Slate Location 6
Go back to the Sands of the Three Canals area and take the east waypoint. From there, go east till you come across a grapple point on the right side. Swing to it and drop down to where the Jinn Shrine is, and touch the wall to get the chest and the last Mysterious Stone Slate.
Where to use the Mysterious Stone Slates in Genshin Impact 3.4.
Now that you have collected all 6 stone slates, you need to head over to Gurabad’s Ruin in the Temple of Deshret. Take the southwest waypoint in Safhe Shatranj, enter the temple, and take the east entrance. Hug the left side and go through the entryway, then go right through the doors. You will come across two large double doors that will require the mysterious stone slates. After unlocking them, you will get a Precious chest and The Nameless City’s Past achievement.
If you want to use up the other stone slates, head back to the previous main room and go east and float down to the door. Go straight till you find two large double doors on your left, and again follow the same procedure and unlock the other Precious Chest.
