While the Genshin Impact Special Program for Update 2.8 ‘Summer Fantasia’ already confirmed the 5-star characters that will get banners in this patch, the 4 stars coming in these banners were still a mystery- except Heizou who releases under Kazuha and Klee in the first half on the update. There have also been leaks about the weapon banners in both the first and second half of the update. There is still no information on the character banners in the second half of the update except the 5-star which will be Yoimiya.
Character Banner 4-Stars in the First Half of 2.8 Update in Genshin Impact
We know Kazuha will be getting a rerun along with Klee- both of whose banners will run simultaneously. Kazuha will get his first rerun after almost a year. The 4 stars appearing in both these banners will be shared and they will be as follows-
- Ningguang
- Heizou
- Thoma
Ningguang was last featured in the banners of 2.4 while Thoma’s last appearance was in the banners of 2.6. Heizou, as teased, is a brand-new Inazuman 4-star Anemo catalyst user who serves as a Detective under the Tenryou Commission.
Weapon Banners in Genshin Impact Update 2.8
Weapon banners in Genshin are usually decided by the best-in-slot weapons of the characters arriving along with that update. To no one’s surprise, the leaked weapon banners follow the same rule.
Weapon Banner in the First Half of 2.8
The two 5-star weapons to be released alongside Kazuha and Klee are going to be as follows:
- Freedom Sworn- Best-in-slot sword for Kazuha
- Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds- Best-in-slot catalyst for Klee
Weapon Banner in the Second Half of 2.8
The weapon banner in the second half is interesting because the bow featured isn’t the best-in-slot for Yoimiya but is a strong bow in general for most dps bow users. The 5-star weapons in the second half are:
- Thundering Pulse
- Skyward Spine
We still don’t know the 4-star weapons in these weapon banners so the efficiency to pull on them is still questionable. The first half of this update looks exciting for those who have saved up their primogems as all the banners in the first half are worth pulling.
