As usual, we have the yearly F1 title and the support for the wheel and pedals is again broken. We also have issues with the force feedback like the usual. Until the devs patch the game, there are certain things you can do to fix the problem. F1 22 has been out on early access for the past 2 days and the game comes out tomorrow on the 1st. we hope that most of the known issues with the game will be patched by then. But, until then, or if not, here is how to fix the F1 22 T-LCM and Fanatec Pedals and Wheel problems with the game. The fix was posted by Saitam on the Steam discussion. Here is how to resolve the issues.
F1 22 T-LCM and Fanatec Pedals and Wheel Problem Fix
Most players who play F1 22 have a separate wheel and pedals synced via USB, but the issue is that the game will only detect either one of the devices, which makes for a frustrating situation. Both are essential for a true experience. Here is how to fix the F1 22 T-LCM and Fanatec Pedals and Wheel problem.
- Install Vjoy, HidHide, and JoystickGremlin
- Go ahead and set a new Vjoy Device with three-axis, (Xr,Zr,Yr)
- In the Joystick Gremlin software that you installed, remap your pedalset axes to match your Vjoy Device axes (X rotation, Z rotation, Y rotation)
- Save the changes and activate your Profile
- Now utilize the HidHide application to hide your Thrustmaster or Fanatec pedals
- When you launch the game and you will be asked to remap all of your controls.

This probably doesn’t help my issue with stuttering when using the fanatec pedals, would it? Seems like a memory leak that comes on after about 10 minutes. Using a g920 with the CSL Elite, so they are plugged in separately via USB but the game registers them just fine.
Worth a shot, I guess.
The only ‘fix’ I’ve found that actually works, what a work-around my friend. Thank you so much for this.
