To find Metal Slimes, you have to work through the intermediary and advanced areas of the Demon Realm. This includes Flowing Temple, Haojo, Purgatory Pass, Steel Fortress, and Sweets Tower. There are three variants to Metal Slimes, namely Metal Slime, Liquid Slime, and Metal King Slime. You can fuse Metal Slimes to get the next variants, and if you haven’t unlocked the advanced areas yet, then you can work on finding Metal Slimes in the intermediate areas. Metal Slimes and its variants can be found in all seasons at all times, and spawn randomly across the Demon Realm.
Once you encounter a Metal Slime, you need to be prepared to tackle them before they run away. You should have monsters with the following traits and skills in your lineup.
- Metal Medley
- Annihilation Eye
- Multifists
- Sword Dance
Metal Medley is one trait that your monster needs to have in their lineup, as without this your monster cannot attack Metal Slimes or its variants like normal monsters. Next, you need to put high damaging AoE attacks that can be stacked to perform multiple hits. Landing successive hits will prevent the Metal Slime from running away, which will improve your scout rate for finding more Metal Slimes. Also, it is best to turn off auto save and go for manual save before battle. In case you do fail to capture the Metal Slime, you can always go back to your last save. This will also reset the scout rate for Metal Slime encounters and you can have a better chance of making them join your team.
