Sharkmob’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt has been released for PS5 players on 27th April. The game was earlier released in 2021, but only for PC players. This guide will take you through the process of how to disable Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt crossplay on PS5.
Guide to Disabling Crossplay on PS5 in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt
While the crossplay feature lets you play with PC players while you’re on PS5 and vice versa, some players might not want to have this option. As the game was first published for PC players, there is bound to be a difference in player skill and general navigation that might affect gameplay.

Console players might not want to play with PS5 players, which is a setting that is selected by default, so they will have to go and change it. To do this, simply press and hold the Options button on the PS5 while you’re in-game, and this will trigger two different menus to pop up. You will need to hold the button for three seconds to bring up three options.
The first option is the Settings menu, and what you’re looking for in the Enable Crossplay text. This is under the category called Gameplay and General. Simply uncheck this option to turn off gameplay.
Note that if you’re having compatibility issues, the devs have mentioned that they’re working on getting those bugs fixed, and they probably will be sorted in the next update. Until then, you should probably have crossplay disabled to be able to play with only other PS5 players. This levels the playing field to an extent as most players of the game are on PC.
You might have delays as you’re only going to be matched with only PS5 players now. To re-activate the crossplay option, you just need to retrace your steps and click on the Enable Crossplay option to be able to match with PC players again.
