You can earn Prismatic Fragments as you progress through the main quests. Sometimes you might receive pre existing fragments that offer similar attributes under a different name. But sometimes you might come across something entirely new. There are 21 Fragments to collect, out of which 12 of them are new. Below are all the fragments you can get and their purpose explained
Fragment Name | Description |
Facet of Balance | Defeating enemies using Light damage grants melee energy, while using Dark damage grants grenade energy |
Facet of Bravery | If enemies are defeated using powered melee as the final hit, this grants Unraveling Rounds to all Strand weapons. Defeating enemies with grenades will grant Volatile Rounds to all Void weapons. |
Facet of Dawn | Using Powered melee attacks will make you Radiant, while landing final hits using Power melee attacks will make you and your allies Radiant |
Facet of Defiance | Depending on the damage output type of your equipped super, the Finisher can create a detonation on the target that will supply either of the following effects: Volatile, Jolt, Slows, Severs, or Scorches them |
Facet of Dominance | Void grenades weaken while Arc grenades Jolt enemies |
Facet of Generosity | You can create Orbs of Power for your allies while defeating targets using Transcendent status |
Facet of Grace | You can claim bonus Transcendence energy by damaging and defeating enemies with Kinetic and Super weapons. Defeating enemies using Super weapons will also grant bonus Transcendence to nearby allies |
Facet of Hope | Class ability regenerates quicker with an elemental buff active |
Facet of Justice | The final blow of your ability will explode while Transcendent |
Facet of Protection | Gain resistance to incoming damage while surrounded by enemies |
Facet of Purpose | Based on the damage output of your equipped Super, you can either gain Amplified, Restoration, Woven Mail, Frost Armor, or Overshield anytime you pick up an Orb of Power |
Facet of Ruin | While shattering a Stasis Crystal or Frozen enemies, the damage output and size of the burst increases. It also increases the size of your Solar Ignition. |
