Cyberpunk 2077 recently released their new DLC, Phantom Liberty, which introduced many new features, new stories and even more characters to interact with. There are many missions in the game which will make players find some characters and one of those missions is called The Hunt. This is a side mission but it is somewhat important and a few missions are also interconnected to this. How To Complete The Hunt and all Clues and Braindance Edits
In order to complete the mission called The Hunt, players need to follow these steps:
- Players first need to complete the mission called I Fought the Law side job which will introduce players to River Ward
- After completing that mission, players will receive a call that they need to meet up with River
- The meetup location is the corner of Pacifica Blvd and Market Street and in the evening (after 8 PM)
- Players need to wait for River and when he arrives, players need to get inside his car with him
- River will ask the players to find his nephew and solve the case of Peter Pan Killer
- River then drives players to a lab and players need to sneak inside to check the Harris and the murderer’s dream (12 points in technical ability is required to get inside easily)
- Players will find the dreams on the cabinet, one to the left of the large room at the center.
- After interacting with the correct cabinet, River will walk in to help find the correct Braindance
- After some interaction with a doctor, players will leave to find a trailer which is the home of a kid whom Harris abducted (Players will find many clues in the trailer)
All the clues in the trailer are as follows:
- The clues related to Randy are in the bedroom which is left of the trailer (in the far back)
- Players will find a cabinet there and the key to it can be found in the main room, next to Randy’s desk in the kitchen
- Players will find a game with a shipping label
- Another Clue is in the computer under Randy’s bed but to open it players need nine points in Intelligence
- If players dont have it, they can go to the front of the trailer and play the record player.
- Then players need to go to River and tell him the name of the soundtrack (which is the password)
- Check all the messages (after unlocking the computer) and then when on the last message, go to the Net and click the web page’s left side to find the hidden web page.
- There players will find a deleted video then players need to go to the “files” section
- Then watch the video labelled “ATT_Cart_Video” and close the computer
- If players have 12 points in their intelligence, they can have the Harris’ IP address
- After exiting the trailer with River, players need to talk with Joss.
- The next morning River will hand players a Braindance (BD) and they have to edit it
All the Braindance players need to do are as follows:
- The first BD is of Harris at his school and there are 3 edits required:
- The teacher – Visual at 00:03
- Bulletin boards – Visual at 01:17, over by the teacher
- Trophy – Visual at 01:21
- The second BD is of Harris and his father at a farm. There are 5 edits in this:
- Sick cow – Visual at 00:04
- Harris’s father – Visual at 00:08
- Cattle bio scanner – Visual at 00:08
- Injection system – Visual at 00:57
- Dietary supplements – Visual at 01:03
- The final BD for players to edit is of cartoon watched as a child. Here are the edits they have to make:

- Look up to find the audio sound of a trash dump – Audio at 00:40
- Victim – Visual at 00:40

- Infusion pump – Visual at 00:53

- Numbers at the back of the room, wait until around the end of it, or you won’t receive background details. – Visual 01:05
Players along with River will get all the information they need and will head towards Edgewood Farm. After reaching the farm, make your way to the barn but there are a few turrets and landmines which players can deactivate with their scanner. Then make your way to the roof using the ladder on the left side of the barn. Jump off the roof into the barn to get access and then with the help of a scanner find Randy and turn off the Braindance. Help the victims and hand over Randy to the police. River is very angry and will tell players that he will choke the life out of Harris. Then help him make the decision on what to do with Harris to complete the mission called The Hunt.
