Sharkmob’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt has been newly released for PS5 players on 27th April, as it was earlier released in 2021, but only for PC players. As part of the larger series called World of Darkness, the video game is based on the RPG Vampire: The Masquerade. There are lots of weapons that you can use in this battle royale vampire game, where you will need to hide your true identity as a vampire and kill other players while defending yourself against the common enemy, which are the Vampire Hunters. This guide will explain the question that many players might have in mind: whether vampires can swim in Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt.
Can You Swim in Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt?
As players are confined to the city of Prague which has water bodies surrounding it, players have been wondering if the vampires can swim. Entity Soldiers are always out for blood, and it looks like the water might be a good place for a vampire to hide, as long as it’s not holy water.

Getting into the water in Prague will most likely end in the unfortunate death of the player, such as getting eaten by a shark, who doesn’t care if you’re living or undead. While this is typical of World of Darkness realm mechanics, it feels rather wasteful that there is all that water in the game and nothing useful about it. Sharks roam the periphery of every coast in the city, and as lore goes, it’s a tactic to keep players confined into the game area.
However, if you’re in the World of Darkness outside of Prague, you can stay alive as long as you’re not in contact with any direct sunlight. If you jump down into the ocean from a ship, you will probably make it, as long as you don’t come up to the surface and get burnt into a crisp by the sun. Good thing vampires don’t need to breathe.
