To improve upon your player attributes, one of the key components that you need to work on is the Ball Handle ratings. Like the previous 2K games, in 2K23, you will need the minimum ball handle of 70 to use pro-dribble and unlock animations. This will also help unlock the Escape Packages and Pro Size-Ups as well. While this is quite convenient, the true minimum requirement to effectively use pro-dribble on most players is 85 ball handle. Some size-up packages require more ball handles, especially the ones from Tracy McGrady and LaMelo Ball, so getting the ball handle at 85 is your best bet.
Some players will need a ball handle of over 85, such as Trae Young, Kobe Bryant, and Kyrie Irving. Below is a detailed look at all players under 6’5” in height who need an increase in Ball Handling.
- Kemba Walker: Ball Handle 86+
- Kyrie Irving: Ball Handle 90+
- Stephon Curry: Ball Handle 92+
- Trae Young: Ball Handle 92+
Kobe Bryant is an exception, since he is 6’10”, but requires a Ball Handle of 88+. Once you meet the requirements in MyPlayer, you can unlock the above unique animations.
