How to Unlock the Dash Pad in Slime Rancher 2

The new location of Rainbow Island is quite a large area, and you will need some gadgets if you want to fully explore it. Running around on foot isn’t the best idea, as it’s slow and it does get tiring after a while. Thankfully, there’s a way through which you will be able to travel much quicker in Slime Rancher 2, and that is through the Dash Pad. This is a very handy tool that you will be able to unlock and use in the game, so let’s find out how.

This is a tool which you can use to get anywhere very quickly without using any energy at all. In order to unlock the Dash Pad, you will need to find a blueprint for it. Some unlockable equipment do not need blueprints, but for this one, you will need to visit a specific location in order to collect the blueprint and unlock it.

If you’re looking for the blueprint for the Dash Pad, you will need to get to the other side of the Rainbow Fields. Here, there is a region known as Ember Valley which you need to unlock first. In addition to this region, you will need to have the Jetpack unlocked already, which is essential towards getting the blueprint.

In the Ember Valley, you will need to make your way west until you find a geyser next to some rocks shaped like cylinders. With your Jetpack, you will need to use the geysers here to climb up the rocks and you will find the blueprint at the top. Collect it and you can use it in the Fabricator to see the materials you need, and craft the Dash Pad.
