Few days after the release of the Witch Queen expansion. Destiny 2 released a brand new raid called the Vow of the Discipline. And with every raid comes new weapons or armor that is tied to its loot pool which can drop after certain encounters. During the limited contest mode, the raid was challenging and required end-game builds to better communication with your fireteam to complete an encounter.
Even when the contest mode ended this raid still isn’t a walk in the park although the level of difficulty got toned down quite a bit. But the rewards compensate for the hardships you may endure in this raid. I will list all the weapons that you can acquire in this raid and their God Rolls.
Vow of the Discipline Loot and Its God Rolls
God Rolls doesn’t necessarily mean they are the best, and may not suit your preference but make sure you look out for these perks below. Here are all the weapons you can unlock in Vow of the Discipline Raid.
Deliverance
Deliverance is one of its and is the first and only Stasis fusion rifle in the game. This weapon shines in both PvP and PvE. This weapon can roll with Chill clip which can freeze enemies even if you are using a light(arc, void, solar) subclass. The God Roll for this weapon is
- Demolitionist / Perpetual motion and Chill Clip : With the combination of demolitionist, you have a high uptime for grenades, and with the chill clip you can freeze all enemies and shatter them instantly.
Cataclysmic
This weapon is a Linear fusion rifle and is best suited for boss fights due to its high DPS. The weapon used to be everyone’s choice before stomchaser took that spot. Check this guide on How to get Storm Chaser and its god rolls. The god Rolls for Cataclysmic is
- Bait and Switch and Fourth times the charm
Submission
This weapon is a 900 RPM kinetic Smg. Submachine guns have always been top tier when it comes to killing adds and is preferred for most mid-range fights. Some really good perks can roll with this weapon
- Overflow/subsistence and Frenzy: Overflow and subsistence are for fewer reloads, with subsistence you can shoot without reloads if you manage to kill adds after adds in a single clip as it will keep reloading it to a certain percentage. Overflow does similar but the percentage depends on the number of enemies killed and requires a reload. With frenzy, you gain a 15% damage boost when in combat.
Forbearance
Forbearance is an Arc special waveform grenade launcher, Waveform grenade launchers have always been top class when dispatching tons of adds with a single click. Even though we had other waveform grenade launchers in the past, this is the first arc-type grenade launcher released in the game. Here are the god Rolls for the same.
- Chain Reaction/Ambitious Assassin: Chain reaction makes enemies explode arc energy and ambitious assassin overflows the mag similar to the overflow perk leading to fewer reloads which is a must for grenade launchers.
Insidious
Insidious is an arc Pulse rifle, Pulse rifles are generally best suited for higher difficulty contents like grandmasters as usually, every season has a champion mode tied to pulse rifles. This is a decent pulse rifle but not the best loot to get in this raid. Here are the God Rolls:
- Rampage and Rapid hit: This perk combo is best suited for casual content as rampage stacks with every kill has a limited time and the time may not be enough to kill adds in difficult activities
- One for all and Stats for all : Best suited for higher difficulty content like grandmasters, as it boosts the overall stats of the weapon temporarily as you kill adds.
Lubrae’s Ruin
This is a solar special glaive weapon and is so far the coolest looking weapon. Getting this weapon may be tricky as it only drops after the final encounter with Rhulk and is the very same weapon that Rhulk attacks you with and plays a major role in defeating him as well. Although this weapon looks great, it doesn’t bring much to the table when it comes to functionality. As glaives are underwhelming and most perks don’t synergize well with it. Also check Check the guide on how to get the latest glaive type weapon introduced in the season of the haunted, How to get Nezarec whisper in Destiny 2 and its god rolls. Here are the God Rolls for Lubrae’s Ruin
- Swashbuckler/Vorpal and Grave robber: Swashbuckler, unfortunately, doesn’t count glaive melee and only its projectiles but still makes a decent perk. Vorpal will give you extra damage against bosses and vehicles and the grave robber will reload your glaive using your melee ability. This perk is better in my opinion as reload time for glaive is fairly high when compared to other primary weapon types
These are all the weapons you can get in the Vow of the Discipline raid, getting all these weapons totally depends on RNG and some may require more than 10 completions
