After several rounds of betas, V Rising from Stunlock Studios is on the verge of release with less than 9 hours to go. The game comes out on Early Access, which means the game is still in development, but we played the beta and there is hundreds of hours that players can spend on the game without getting bored. All the areas are accessible if you want o travel to the farthest part of the V Rising world. V Rising is an amazing open-world survival game.

As you play the game, you may want to mess with the config file of the game to change some settings that may not be accessible from the game options; hence, you need to know the location of V Rising config file for that.

As the game is saved on the server, there is no save file of the game that we could find. Here is how to find the V Rising config file.

V Rising Config File Location

Before you decide to alter the settings files of the game, a word of caution. If you do anything it will have a direct impact on the game (positive or negative). Having said that here is how to find the config file of V Rising.

  1. Press Windows Key + R and type %appdata%
  2. Click on AppData in the Windows Navigation
  3. Open the folder LocalLow > Stunlock Studios > VRising > Settings

At this location there are two files. ClientSettings is your game settings files while the other is your server history. You can open the files using Notepad or any other text editor.
