V Rising Ability Guide – Blood Abilities
Blood abilities are one of the five types of abilities in V Rising, and they focus on stealing life from enemies and healing the player. Veil of Blood, Shadowbolt, and Blood Rite are the default Blood abilites that all players begin with. There are 8 of them in total, and are divided into the three forms of abilities.

Basic
- Blood Rage: Shields player and team for 110% of spell power and increases attack speed by 25% for 4.5 seconds.
- Blood Rite: Blocks attacks for 1.5 seconds, heals for 30% of spell power and deals 100% magic damage. Will also knock back nearby enemies.
- Crimson Aegis: Applies a shield which is 200% of spell power, can also be given to targeted allies. Will also knock back nearby enemies once the shield is applied.
- Sanguine Coil: Versatile ability that heals player and ally when used on an ally by 40% and 100% respectively, launches a projectile when used on an enemy, dealing 75% magic damage, along with 40% life steal.
- Shadowbolt: Deals 200% magic damage while also snaring enemies for 1 second.
Travel
- Veil of Blood: Player turns invisible for 2.2 seconds, damage increases by 25% and heals 5% of max health. Enemies will attack doppelganger.
Ultimate
- Heart Strike: Deals 150% magic damage while healing player for the same, causes an explosion at the end with 150% magic damage.
- Crimson Beam: Deals 150% magic damage to enemies, and 100% healing to allies hit while player is healed for 25% of spell power per hit. Lasts for 4 seconds.
