Genshin Impact often introduces multiple bosses in a new region for ascension materials of regional characters. Genshin Impact 3.0 gave us the Electro Regisvine and the Jadeplume Terrorshroom. Upcoming new bosses from Genshin Impact 3.1 through 3.4 have been leaked and while we have limited info on some of them, we’re still going to mention them so players know what’s to come.
New Genshin Impact Bosses Post 3.0
Genshin Impact has a knack for making world bosses with great exhilarating design elements and mechanics that complement their looks and difficulty. The upcoming updates will all introduce bosses which are mechanical in design and don’t have the natural feel of bosses like Regisvines. Of all the bosses listed below- only one of them is likely to be a weekly boss while the rest will be released as world bosses.
Blightdrake
This one’s almost 100% confirmed to be coming next patch as it will drop ascension materials for Nilou. Its design seems to be based on the Ruin Drake elites released in Version 3.0. As Ruin Drakes, this boss will also feature elemental infusion in its attacks and will most likely have two forms- one in-ground and one in-flight.
Semi-Perpetual Control Matrices
This boss is similar to the Perpetual Mechanical Array as can be deduced from its name. It’s most likely a world boss based in the Desert regions of Sumeru considering how similar Ruin elites have popped up as enemies in the area as hinted by some Sumeru preview teasers and trailers. One thing we can all agree on- this looks scarier than it has any right to be.
Dendro Hypostasis
Currently, we have elemental Hypostases of all the 6 elements previously known to our players. With the release of Dendro in Sumeru, it’s not unlikely that we’re also getting a Dendro Hypostasis soon- though its design and attacks are still up for imagination. The Dendro Hypostasis is a questionable leak for now but since it’s still a leak, we can expect this boss by Version 3.4.
Scaramouche
Currently, there are no reliable images of Scaramouche’s weekly boss design but we do know it’s coming- either in Version 3.2 or latest by Version 3.4. His boss fight and mechanics are rumoured to follow Raiden’s own weekly boss fight- Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto which uses Raiden’s puppet as the boss we have to face against.
Since we know from earlier story quests that Scaramouche is also another puppet- a.k.a not human and since rumours suggest he’ll be able to use all elements, we can expect this boss to be a mix of Azdaha and Mikoto but it’s still all mostly speculation. Regardless, all the bosses above have a mechanical element to them and it’ll be exciting for new Genshin players to try out their new Dendro teams on such advanced bosses.
