Genshin Impact Version 3.0 is only hours away and it’s going to drop the new region of Sumeru and the final element of Genshin Impact’s seven element system- Dendro. With every new region comes new enemies and creatures and this article is going to explore just that. Get acquainted with all the new fantastic enemies and creatures you’re about to meet in a couple hours.
Fantastic Creatures and Enemies in Genshin Impact Version 3.0
Sumeru’s enemies and creatures have a whole new design unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. They look straight out of a fairytale. Some of these “enemies” are too cute to be called so and it’s a shame we have to fight them. Some of these creatures are so regal and ferocious-looking that we would’ve loved to fight them.
Enemies
Sumeru’s enemies are expected to use Dendro mechanics and attacks in their kit. The following enemies are going to determine how good and lethal Dendro can be and we’re all here for it. Most of these enemies were leaked long ago but as of now these are their final looks and designs.
Fungi
These adorable little floating creatures are our mob enemies in Sumeru which means we have to kill them a lot for their materials. We also know that they will drop different materials under different circumstances so that’s something we have to be careful about. These come in various shapes and sizes and they have their own elements but make no mistake- these are still Dendro creatures even if they don’t make Dendro attacks.
Eremites
Eremites are the Sumeru equivalent of Treasure Hoarders or Nobushis. These are human mob enemies which we have to fight and they are expected to have their own fighting style. We can expect them to be in organised mobs so players will have to careful not to get surrounded by them and overwhelmed.
Ruin Drakes
Ruin Drakes are Sumeru’s version of Ruin enemies. According to leaks, these dragon-like Ruin machines can infuse elements into their attacks and have different forms depending on their health bar. For a beginner player these will still feel like mini-boss fights so make sure you’re strong enough before you take on one of these.
Electro Regisvine
Electro Regisvine is finally home after watching its siblings get turned to damage experiments by the Genshin player base. We feel sorry for this adorable plant but we’re also excited about its combat mechanics and attacks. This is one of the two world bosses to be added in Version 3.0.
Jadeplume Terrorshroom
This is the second world boss getting added in Version 3.0. These are evolved life forms from the Fungi family who have grown territorial and ferocious- almost animalistic in their nature. This will be our first Dendro world boss and players will be happy to learn about its attacks and figuring out counter strategies.
Creatures
The creatures of Sumeru look straight out of fairy tales. They have an authentic rustic touch to their designs and they all look wild- as they should. The animals are actually inspired by animals found around the tropical rainforests and savannahs so players will still have a feeling of familiarity with them.
Shaggy Sumpter Beast
These are adorable helpful creatures that are known for their carrying strength in Sumeru. They are in fact also seen as signs of wealth in Sumeru. They resemble the Yak creature found in our own world around the Tibetian ranges.
Rishboland Tiger
It’s no surprise that a creature with Tiger in its name would be inspired by the Bengal Tigers which are famous Asia. These however look a lot different from the Tiger we’re used to since they also seem to resemble Sabertooths from a prehistoric era. It’s still a mystery if we can interact with these creatures in-game but we’re all going to find that out very soon.
Spinocrocodile
The Spinocrocodile definitely bears resemblance to prehistoric designs with its spinal scales. Since we know that Crocodile meat is edible, we wonder if we can kill these in-game for a new kind of meat. It’s been a while since we’ve gotten new meats in Tevyat- and ferocious as these look, we bet they’ll taste amazing.
Shroomboar
These adorable boar mutations are too adorable to kill. We could just spend hoours watching them do their thing. The mushroom on their coats however do look delectable so we’ll see if players can hold their in-game appetite.
Sumeru already looks like a wild fairy land but with these creatures on board they look even more fantastic. The servers go down for maintenance for Version 3.0 in only a couple more hours. 5-6 more hours later players will get to meet these creatures and enemies as they start their adventures in Sumeru.
