The Quarry is a new horror narrative game from 2K and Supermassive Games in which every choice you make, no matter how big or little, shapes your story and determines who survives and who dies.
The game takes place on the last day of Summer Camp, and the adolescent counsellors at Hackett’s Quarry decide to throw a party to celebrate. Things go bad for them as blood-soaked locals and something “far more terrible” turn a night of partying into a night of dread.
In The Quarry, you will take on the roles of each of the nine camp counsellors, and each character will have the opportunity to either become the show’s star – or perish before the sun rises. Here’s how to modify The Quarry’s difficulty.

How to Save Emma
If you’re wondering how to save Emma in The Quarry, we’ve got you covered. The Quarry places the player in charge of the lives of nine camp counsellors and threatens them at practically every move. Emma is one of the first characters in the game to face deadly risk, so keep a watch on her.
Here’s all you need to know about Emma in The Quarry.
Save Emma: General Tips
Ideally, you should play through the game before utilising this guide, but that is your decision, not mine. Also, keep in mind that there are several factors at work here. We know which decisions you should make to prevent danger, yet things can go wrong.
Emma is involved in a lot of action in the game, so be prepared for some fast-paced situations. You should be able to keep Emma safe if you choose the appropriate pathways and perform those QTEs.
Save Emma: The Island (first danger)
Emma is alone and dressed inappropriately the first time she confronts danger. She swims to the island and quickly uploads a video to her channel after swimming with Jacob. As she explores the island, you have a decision. Take the high road or the low way to get to the treehouse.
You should take the back route since you will pick up some hints along the way. You’ll get to the treehouse any way, and this is one of the most important decisions in the game. To put it simply, you have two choices: search the bags or open the trapdoor. If Emma opens the trapdoor, she will perish instantaneously. Examine the bags instead. She’ll discover clothing as well as self-defense gear like a taser and pepper spray inside.
Save Emma: Rock and a Hardplace (second danger)
Fireworks are required in this case. Remember the general store’s safe? There were firecrackers with the shotgun ammunition. You have the option of bringing the firecrackers or not, and you may reasonably think that bringing pyrotechnics into the forest is a poor idea. Instead, disregard Smokey Bear and any other safety impulses and continue with the fireworks.
Emma will make her way to the fire pit after leaving the island, and then to the lodge. You may get firecrackers and a lighter at the firepit. She will meet Jedediah and his son Bobby on the way. Emma will have to cope with the hunters or a second oncoming werewolf now that the hunters have captured a werewolf. Either of them can be stopped with a quick kick and a firecracker to the face. Emma will flee and return to the lodge.
Save Emma: Safe Inside (third danger)
You’ll require an excellent environment, just like you did with Abigail. Dylan should not have gone downstairs to examine Chris Hackett’s office since Abigail should still be alive. If you did everything right, Abi and Emma should be safe in the storm cellar beneath the lodge at the conclusion of the game. The only thing to fear is a werewolf attack on the resort. The werewolf will be drawn to Kaitlyn and Dylan, but the other females must also stay safe.
While they’re in the basement, Emma and Abi will take the ladder up to the office, which will only work if Dylan didn’t damage it. They’ll all go to Chris’ security room and watch Kaitlyn and Dylan on the cameras. They are kept in the office to keep them safe, but they may interfere in the werewolf crisis if required. Kaitlyn can use the plush animal you got as Abigail to draw the werewolf into the freezer. This way, Emma and Abigail will be safe at work.
The Quarry, which will be launched on June 10th, is now available for pre-order on Steam. The Quarry Guide contains further information on the game and its characters, as well as its dramatic gameplay.
