The Driftwood is more like a landmark that you won’t be able to spot on the ground floor of the island. You will need to know the exact location, which is a little off the road northwest of Flutter Barn. The blue marker below indicates where The Driftwood is.
You will not be able to find it at the ground level as it is actually hovering over it. The Driftwood landmark is an airship that moves around to different locations, but it won’t change until the next update. The location change is due to the map becoming more and more infested with Chrome.
The Driftwood is a place you should definitely visit, as you will be able to get a lot of experience points from it. By doing the Week 2 challenges, you will be able to get up to 20,000 XP just by opening some chests. The place has three floors that you can explore, and holds a lot of different chests for you to find. Additionally, by doing the Week 3 challenges of simply visiting the landmark, you will be able to gain more XP.
