Getting Insurance in The Cycle Frontier
In the game, there are two sorts of insurance:
- Standard Insurance
- Gear Salvage Insurance
Standard Insurance
You protect your products under standard insurance by paying a portion of their cost with K-Marks. Consider this a wise investment since, in the event of your untimely death, you will recover more than twice what you spent on insurance.
For example, you can get standard insurance for 500 K-Marks and receive 1250 K-Marks upon death. The funds will be deposited immediately into your account.
Gear Salvage Insurance
In order to insure your stuff, you must spend insurance tokens or Ethereum. Unlike regular insurance, however, a gear salvage insurance policy will return the item you insured upon your death rather than paying K-Marks.
To open the loadout screen, go to the launch terminal and activate the console. The gear salvage and regular insurance tabs should appear on the right side of the loadout screen.
Drag and drop things into the standard insurance tab to insure them for a K-Mark payout, or into the gear salvage insurance page to mark them for a salvage effort if you die in the game.
When you place an item in the standard insurance tab, you can see how much you have to pay and the maximum payout you are set to get upon death. Furthermore, the insurance payout is transmitted to the income generator in your personal quarters following your death.
Take notice that if you die, your income generator can contain up to 20x insurances at once. You will, however, need to renovate your rooms in order to get that money. Insurance is only available for armour, bags, and weapons.
Benefits of Insurance in The Cycle Frontier
There are various advantages to holding insurance coverage in the game.
- It is critical to understand that The Cycle: Frontier is meant to kill you as quickly as possible. Even the strongest players will perish throughout a mission, whether at the hands of AI-controlled adversaries or other human players.
- Having regular insurance ensures that you continue to accumulate K-Marks for later usage. In terms of the cost of acquiring a normal insurance policy, you are more than likely to recoup your investment if you survive the following few missions.
- In terms of having gear salvage insurance, it appears to be a fantastic idea on paper, especially for endgame equipment, but there is a little catch that players should be aware of. You will not receive your insured item if an opponent loots your body and is still alive when you spawn. For the gear salvage insurance policy to kick in, the opponent that looted your insured item must die with the item despawning.
- Furthermore, throwing away the covered object violates the insurance provider. If you die and your teammate loots you, your insurance is voided. If you obtain insurance for one thing and subsequently alter it, you must insure it again or you will lose your insurance.
As a result, the gear salvage insurance has several flaws. It is advised that you only get gear salvage insurance for goods that are difficult to obtain. This was all about insurance in The Cycle: Frontier. Check out our other guides on the game for more information.
