Marauders are big, scary monsters found throughout The Cycle: Frontier. They are available in two different colours: blue and green.
- Blue marauders are the most prevalent and quite easy to kill. They drop decent treasure when slain, usually crafting materials like those needed to enhance your armour.
- The green marauders are more vigilant and swift to attack.
Many factions give tasks to pursue Marauders in addition to valuable drops. As a result, you will be cultivating them to collect faction points in order to level up factions in the game. The guide below will teach you all you need to know about marauders in The Cycle: Frontier.

Farming Marauders in The Cycle Frontier
Following are the points to keep in mind while farming for Marauders in the game.
First Step
Coming prepared is the first step in cultivating Marauders. Bring plenty of ammunition, as well as grenades and excellent armour. You may also connect an ammunition converter to your weapon to increase its damage, although any attachment that increases a weapon’s damage will suffice.
The Flechette Assault Rifle is an excellent weapon to use. This weapon, with a rapid rate of fire and decent damage, assists you in wreaking havoc on these hordes. You may stun these mobs by shooting them in the mouth with this weapon, but not with most other weapons. To confuse the Marauders, you can also use smoke and stun grenades. Just make sure they don’t see you or they’ll come after you.
Second Step
The second stage in winning any fight is to take advantage of your surroundings. When chasing Marauders, it’s generally better to battle from higher ground. Fighting on any elevated terrain, whether higher or lower land, the Marauders will struggle to move freely. When you are short on stamina, you can hide behind rocks. These monsters are also quite swift.
It is also beneficial to know where the Marauders are easiest to farm. Because they do not draw any PvP or PvE groups, locations like the Dig Site and the Comms Tower are frequently used to farm these Marauders.
It may also be beneficial to understand how the Marauders battle. Knowing and understanding their attacks and fighting styles might be beneficial. However, understanding their combat technique is not difficult, and you will quickly become accustomed to it.
Attack of the Marauders
The Marauders have two types of attacks: short-range and long-range. Marauders have a spit attack for long-range. Yes, you read it correctly, these creatures physically spit at you, and it can do quite a bit of damage.
Their spit is poisonous, and it will injure you if it comes into touch with you in any manner, whether directly on you or on the ground (yes, even if you tread on it when it’s on the ground). Their saliva may also eat away at your armour to some amount, so don’t take any chances and be cautious.
But there’s nothing to worry about because you can see this onslaught coming from a mile away. The Marauders must prepare a little before spitting at you, and their mouth will glow orange while they do so. Their mouth becoming orange is your cue to strike; you’ll have a few seconds to land a few hits while they’re doing so, but make sure to walk away quickly enough so you don’t get covered in their spit.
These monsters have a faster short-range attackt. They may lunge forward and attack you swiftly. They frequently prefer to perform two consecutive lunges, so keep that in mind so you don’t keep getting blows. Because they find it difficult to move on slopes, it’s advisable to combat them on an elevated area to avoid getting strikes from them in this manner.
