The Texas Chain Saw Massacre has several exits, such as Rear Exit with the Car Battery, Road Exit and Generator, a Fuse Box exit, and a pressure value exit. Depending on where you are and what you prefer, you can use any of the 4 to exit the Slaughter Family house.
If you are a DBD fan, you will love Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The game is also on Game Pass, so you can try it if you have a subscription. In the game, you can choose a killer character or become one of the victims. The victim’s objective is to escape, while the killer’s is to hunt you and prevent that. You start the game being stuck in the house’s basement and must escape to freedom before the family members can get to you.
How to Escape the Family House in Texas Chainsaw Massacre
In this quick guide, we will elaborate on how you can escape the massacre family house via the various options you have.
The Generator
The generator is tied to the Road Exit, where the generator powers a door. To open the door, you need to disable the generator. Finding the generator or the exit door will lead you to the other. If you come across a big gate with green light, simply follow the cable leading away from it, and you will find the generator. Interact with it, and the character will start kicking the generator. After a while, the generator will be down. Once disabled, the generator cannot be made operational for one minute. You must head to the gate and use a lockpick to open the door during this time.
Car Battery and the Back Exit
The back exit is relatively simply compared to the others because the car battery and the door it electrifies are close by. Once you find the door, simply follow the cables, which will lead you to the car battery. Interact with it to remove the power supply to the game. Do note that if a family member is notified or knows what you are doing, they can immediately turn the power back on the gate. You also need the lockpick to unlock this door.
Fuse Box and Basement Tunnel Escape
The Fuse Box is a bit complicated as it requires solving a puzzle and finding the fuse. Your first task is to find the Fuse. The Fuse can be found on the map, simply explore the map and look for electrical equipment on the wall.
Once you have the fuse, you will need a lockpick to open the fuse box as it is locked. After picking the lock and opening the fuse box, you will install the fuse, and then there is a puzzle.
The fuse box puzzle is quite simple to solve. There are different color chips on the left that you need to match with the chips of the same color in the fuse box. The second part of the puzzle is that you need to place the chips so that the numbers match up, as shown in the image below. The top chips add up to 16, and the bottom adds to 8.
After solving the puzzle, you will pull the handle, and the door in the basement will open. You have a shot duration of about 60 seconds to get to the door before it closes.
Pressure Valve Exit
Like the Fuse exit, the pressure valve exit is also complicated. You will first need to find the Valve Handle, blow the pressure valve, and unlock the exit door. You can refer to our complete guide on Pressure Valve Exit.
These are all the four exits you, as a victim in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, can take to escape from the house and win.
