After you have joined the Constellation, you can access The Lodge to find various workbenches in the basement. This is one place you can go to and use the weapon workbench.The next place you can visit is Akila City. There are two workbenches here, one near the entrance to the city and one near the back of the city. You can check beside Rowland Arms and Laredo Firearms to find these workbenches. And finally, you can check out Neon. There is a workbench near the entrance to the city, and you can’t miss it because of the large neon sign.
Besides finding workbenches in the city, you can also build one in your outpost. To do that, use your hand scanner when you are on a planet to scan for nearby outposts. You will need some materials to help craft the workbench. After acquiring all the items, visit the outpost and place the workbench. Your ship is another place where you can build a weapons workbench. Select the Workshop Module upgrade for your ship to start building workbenches inside it.
