There are two ways to locate Ghostfish. The first way is to explore the Mining Cave and visit the underground lake. You can find the lake at level 20 or 60, so keep exploring till you find it. Once you do, use your fishing rod to catch one. If you have fishing level 3, you can catch the Ghostfish quicker. It will take a while to get them, but if you keep trying, you can eventually capture Ghostfish.
The second way to get Ghostfish is by killing ghosts. Ghosts can be found in the dungeons, and you can find a handful to kill. They drop rare items, and you might also find Ghostfish drops from them. This method will not give you enough Ghostfish, but it is one way to get them.
You can likewise take Ghostfish to your Fish Pond and have them reproduce to get enough Ghostfish to farm. This is the easiest way to get this fish type, but you need to capture a handful of Ghostfish from the underground lake first. Besides farming Ghostfish, they can produce Roe, which you can sell for 52G. Ghostfish also can be sold, and they cost 45G to 135G. Depending on their rarity, you can sell them for a higher price. You can also use Ghostfish in certain recipes, as they regenerate and heal health.
