Splatoon 3 is an upcoming third-person shooter video game made exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. You can choose to control either an Inkling or Octoling as your playable character. There is a wide variety of weapons available to players, each with its own unique strengths and abilities. Whether you prefer to play aggressively or more conservatively, there is a weapon that will suit your playstyle.
One of the new modes for this Splatfest is Tricolor Turf War. It’s a three-team battle where the team with the most ink at the end of the match wins. If you’re wondering how to win, here’s a quick guide.

The new Tricolor Turf War mode is slightly different from the regular Turf War mode, but not by much. In this mode, your goal is still to cover as much ground as possible with your team’s ink colour.
How to Win Tricolor Turf War
However, there are four team members in the middle of the arena, and the other two teams have two members each who attack from both sides. This mode is only available during Splatfest events.
The key to success in this game will always be to quickly cover as much ground with your team’s colour as possible while also keeping an eye out for the Ultra Signal. With the item in hand, you can send a help message to a Deep Cut member, who will send you an item you can use to cover even more ground at the end of the match.
The Ultra Signal is like an extra life for your team. It gives you and your teammates a better chance of winning the game. You will be open to attack when you go to grab it, so it’s important to have a teammate nearby to help protect you. Once you claim the Ultra Signal, sprinklers will fall on the field and mark that area with your team’s colour until the end of the match.
