The coming years will be exciting for Sony, as two new possible shooter games will be released in 2023 and 2024 respectively. According to Frank Aliberti’s ArtStation profile, two upcoming first and third-person shooter games are under production. Aliberti is a Senior Character Artist at 2K Games and is working on the two unnamed titles as a Senior Artist. Both titles will be under PlayStation’s banner, so fans have plenty to look forward to in the following years.
Aliberti’s Linkedin profile has a detailed portfolio of his current and upcoming projects, and on the list, there are two unnamed titles currently in the works by two different studios. The two studios are Arrowhead Studios and Firewalk Studios. The description for both titles states that these games will support co-op and/or multiplayer. Arrowhead Studios are working on a third-person shooter, while Firewalk Studios will have an “Original multiplayer game for Playstation fans”. It is also noted in Aliberti’s profile that he is also working on the latest Death Stranding 2 game under Kojima Productions.
The launch date for Death Stranding 2 is not revealed, but it is speculated to get a 2024 release. In a now-deleted listing on his ArtStation profile, Aliberti briefly mentioned the ETA of release, before promptly taking it down. Screenshots of the posting are still floating around, but it is unsure if the date mentioned is the possible period for DS2’s release.
