Genshin Impact recently released their initial Patch Notes for Version 3.0 and there are going to be some welcome audio optimizations and additions to the game. Genshin Impact already has an impressive sound design, and their orchestral soundtracks are well worth all the excess primogems spent on banners. The following new additions and changes is going to make the game not only easier but also more dynamic.
Audio Adjustments and Optimisations in Genshin Impact Version 3.0
Audio and sound design can make or break the game as they can either distract and pull out your players from the game or immerse them into the world of the game and engage them with the ongoing content. There are two major audio changes set to be potentially added in Version 3.0 which will do exactly the same.
“Ally at Low HP” Voicelines and Functions
Genshin Impact Version 3.0 is set to add “Ally at Low HP” voice lines for all the characters in the game. This way players don’t have to constantly check their health bars as their own teammates will notify players if one of the party teammates is at low hp. These voice lines will be added to each character’s voice-lines section.
The condition to trigger it will also be added for co-op mode. As of now, we don’t know if this will even apply within a party in single-player mode but it’s still a useful thing to add to the game. Players in co-op mode can now get a better idea as to who is in low health and needs a shield or healing.
Special Sound Effects for Killing Blow and Crit Hits
Version 3.0 in Genshin Impact is also set to introduce special sound effects for when your party member defeats an opponent and/or lands a crit hit upon the enemy. This will make combat a lot more convenient, especially when you’re building your character or checking out other character builds. This way you can know who landed the killing blow and even who Crit and for how much bonus damage.
Other changes include optimisations to Diluc’s voice lines, and optimisations for Japanese, Korean and English language for certain quests and characters in the game. There are also going to be basic sound optimisations and effects added to the combat system of the game.
