If you are looking for an action-packed multiplayer animal brawler, then look no further than Party Animals. Take the form of a dog, cat, alligator, dinosaur, or any other animal species and try to attack the other animals or push them off the edge of the map.
Recreate Games, the powerhouse behind Party Animals, released the teaser trailer for the gameplay on Twitter in September 2019, and the demo during the Steam Game Festival in June and October 2020, but so far there is still no news of the official release date. Fans speculate it will be sometime this year, but only time will tell.

The gameplay mechanic is like any other physics bases brawler game, where you can play as 11 different animal characters and attack other players on four different maps. You can use your physical strength and attack them by punching, kicking, and headbutting, as well as using the various weapons scattered around the area to bring your opponents down. If you are hit repeatedly, you will be temporarily knocked out. You can continue to play after the cooldown is up, unless you were pushed off the map or met a violent death.
There are two modes to play in, Last Stand and Snatch Squad. Last Stand will toss you into a 7 player arena where you will have to battle your way to becoming the last animal standing, while Snatch Squad will divide you into groups of two with four members, as you try to fight for the gummies being tossed in the arena and score points with it.
So far Recreate Games has confirmed that Party Animals will be available on PC and Xbox consoles, as well as the Game Pass, but there is no mention of the PlayStation. Since it is an Xbox Exclusive, PlayStation players would have to keep a lookout for any further news about the title being released for the PS.
