Playing as Taz will give you an added advantage of speed, and his special debuff can help him inflict more damage. Taz is also an A Tier character, which is somewhat close to S-Tier characters.
Moves and Abilities
Below are all the moves and abilities that you can use while playing as Taz in MultiVersus.
Passive Moves
Bottomless Pit
Taz’s Tasty debuff stacks up on enemies that will prevent them from attacking. The more Taz attacks them, the more the buff gets piled up till they turn into a cooked chicken, disabling them from the fight. They will also drop chicken upon being hit in this state, helping you heal yourself and your allies. Taz’s lick ability also helps heal allies in passing.
Normal Attacks
Soup’s On! (Neutral+Attack)
Using this will make Taz swallow a bowl of soup which he will later use to spit charged projectiles that deal Tasty. His air variant, Soup-er Spinner, is similar, but Taz will spit projectiles backward while spinning.
Well-Seasoned (Side+Attack)
Taz will fire salt and pepper projectiles that deal Tasty before he turns into a tornado spin. His air variant, Feed The Beast, makes Taz use a charged forward bite.
Slam-Wich (Up+Attack)
Taz will charge at the enemy and wedge them between a sandwich, dealing Tasty. This is a chargeable attack, and Taz can move around during this. Its air variant, the Flying Slam-Wich, is the same without the charge.
Stomp Stomp Stomp! (Down+Attack)
Taz’s Stomp attack can break enemy armor. The longer the charge the further it can reach. While in the air he can use Super Down Under, which lets Taz use his legs to turn into a tornado and drill down, effectively breaking armor.
Special Attacks
Chew it Yourself (Neutral+Special)
Taz can create Stun by gulping them down. If projectiles are tossed at him, he can eat and destroy them, which also powers up his Down+Special attack. Pressing up, back, or forward will spit up any gulped enemies.
Taz-Nado (Side+Special)
Taz uses his famous spin attack which hits enemies multiple times. Passing by allies while performing this attack will speed him up, giving him a short Fast Movement Buff.
Dogpile! Dogpile! (Up+Special)
Taz will force a projectile that grows in size. If an enemy enters the dogpile, they will be hit multiple times and end with a huge blow. He will then try to jump and swipe twice while this attack is under cooldown.
You Spit What You Eat (Down+Special)
Correlating to his Chew it Yourself attack, Taz can spew a chewed apple or any projectile he had ingested, and it will deal tasty when hit.

How to Play Using Taz
Taz is great for close combat since his moves deal a lot of horizontal damage. Try to get as close to the enemy as possible to stack Tasty debuff on them. Most of his moves require a cooldown, so it is not recommended to use them all up in one go. While his spit projectiles have some range, it is enough to just tackle air enemies at a certain distance. It is best to keep Taz grounded at all times since if he is up in the air it’s difficult to manage him, making him vulnerable to falling off the map.
