Once everything is set in place, send the buddy out in various market and leave to complete quests. Between each quest, you can check the items that the buddy has brought back. Be patient and continue with the game, eventually, you will get the Butterfly Beetle.
To increase the chances of your buddy bringing back more items and hence the Butterfly Beetles, you need to use the Kamura Points to increase the bargaining skill of your buddy.
